How good is the sound on the Solo HD's compared to the HFI 580?  I've gotten mixed answers from looking up reviews and threads on the Solo HD - some people bash it, but I always find someone else who loves it. Bass isn't too much of an issue, I could really care less b/c both are "bass" headphones, so bass should be adequate in both, but how do the clarity and soundstage match up against eachother. Now  -- please don't flame -- my ears aren't too good at picking the differences, so I rely on attractiveness as another deciding factor, so if the difference isn't all that big, then please inform me.

The Crossfade LPs are another pair of cans I'm looking at, how do these stack up against the previously mentioned?

Didnt like the Crossfades, looks nice but are a muddy blur like the Dre's, can't vouch for the solos but I have the HFI-780 and they are great, I read the bass impact is even better on the 580s.
