So, I'll start out by saying that the HD 25s were the best headphones I've ever used in my entire life, and I didn't want to sell them.
 
My problem was the fact that I wear my headphones so much that they bugged my ears after extended periods of time. This being due to their ON EAR design.
 
I know it's out there, but I just need to be pointed in the right direction. I've been out of the loop on cans since I got my 25s about a year ago. I need something over the ear that is great for genres like Drum n bass, and Trance. They need good isolation as well.
 
I do DJ a few clubs a year, so isolation is important for those situations.
 
You guys helped me out before, and I know you can help me again.

HD250 Linear II is like a HD25 on (big) steroids and it is circumaural so very comfortable and great for mixing. Finding one is another matter it is quite rare now as it was discontinued a few years ago. You can't rotate the cups or fold them but these are little trade-offs for what you get.
