The question here is which headphones in the $150 -$300 range offer a mix of good isolation, minimal leakage, and comfort, while excelling at music such as fingerstyle guitar, where sounds such as flesh scraping across a string, or the full shimmer of a harmonic, come across as clear as a bell and as if the instrument were in the room with you.

I've been digging around for some time but haven't found enough relevant information, but I look forward to reading your thoughts!

Heya,

I would look into:

Beyer DT770
Brainwavz HM5
KRK KNS8400
AKG K550
AudioTechnica A900

Very best,
