So I had a cup of coffee with Tuan from Notes Audio (to whom Simphonio is associated) and he showed me the Dragon 2+ with 3.5mm jack. To my surprised it sounds different from the balanced one. Noticeably warmer and thicker. That said I still prefer the 2+ balanced.

Hello, I`ve just got sd2+ (balanced version) and I am in progress to get used to them. They have deeper musical involvement then my 64 audio iem, but I found some unexpected thing- sd2+ sounds more pleasant and balanced from SE adapter than from balance output IMHO. What`s wrong with me? Are you using 3.5 or 2.5 jack with yours?

Has anyone tried the Simphonio Dragon 3 yet? Especially someone that already has a 2+.

Oh my god that seems like the perfect little mod.

I guess I will buy the thinnest double-sided tape at my local supermarket.

It`ll also work but will last maybe not so long at least in my experience. Also, try some 3rd party manufacturers good 2.5 to 3.5 adapters because native is not the best IMHO.
