Simphonio Audio Thread (used to be Sunrise Audio)

I have no idea how to get a good adapter, because none of them claim what their effect on impedence is; hopefully minimal. So I just decided to get them from a well known brand like FiiO.

Anyone have experience with VR1?
I am extremely curious of that too. An almost 15mm driver with ceramic material used.

And I really like their Dragon 2 plus product.

The only down side other than price...why do they sell the silver cable seperately? Also why push a silver cable as being the most compatible with the iem? Seems weird and untrustworthy.

Still I know they have some real competent minds with the Dragon 2plus product. I contacted them on messenger (Facebook) and ordered it directly from them.

So I had a cup of coffee with Tuan from Notes Audio (to whom Simphonio is associated) and he showed me the Dragon 2+ with 3.5mm jack. To my surprised it sounds different from the balanced one. Noticeably warmer and thicker. That said I still prefer the 2+ balanced.

between between 2.5 balanced and 3.5 there is a $100 difference would there be a big miss out if opting for 3.5mm. Your advice will help me buy the best and better version. Thank you

The 2.5 balanced version is tuned different. It is more HIFI transparent sounding. While the 3.5mm is warmer sounding, with thicker notes.

The 2.5 balanced version is like the Audio Technica awKT , while the 3.5 model is like the Audio Technica awAS.

New stuff. A single-dd model. And another model that is Planar.
