As some of the old timers might remember, Sunrise audio were quite a well respected brand around here offering great IEM's on a budget. They disappeared for a while, but are back sporting a new name: Simphonio.

Penon audio are currently stocking their models: https://penonaudio.com/Simphonio

Here is the Simphonio Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Simphonio-Audio-1937963453090814/

They have 2 new models coming out, Xcited 2 and Dragon 2+

I'm looking forward to hearing these models, and what else the brand has in store for us Head-Fiers.

The Dragon 2+ look really interesting. I am just getting into high-end earbuds and very curious what these might bring. Are you getting either of the models in for review?

I will hopefully be getting both models, so I'll gladly lend the Dragon 2+ to you. I'm actually very interested in hearing them, the original Dragon 2 were lean but incredibly detailed and airy, and I find myself enjoying the limited edition Kinera earbuds I have quite a bit.

Very nice! I just got in the Astrotec Lyra Collection, so it will be interesting to compare to the Dragon 2+. We'll swap them around so we can both try both. :D

Nathan liked their gear in the past, so he was curious to find out how their new unit performs. Now on Headfonia after the click!

Not sure if I agree with the reviewer.
Sound out of the iPhone is fine although a bit boring. When coupled with a proper dap or dedicated amp is when it really comes alive. And when you feel it is more worth the price.
 Just my opinion, of course.

Hmm just found this thread. Simphonio is closely linked to Notes Audio of Vietnam (the Xcited 2 is sold in Vietnam under the name "AT10"). Simphonio and Notes' founders were also Sunrise's co-founders but has now create 2 brand to focus on different markets.
I have a review of the Xcited 2 (AT10) and will make 1 for Dragon 2+ too.
