sorry about bumping this thread, but i really didn't wont to start a new one. just needed to add, if you're finding some recordings harsh. there is one more thing i have found that can cause it. some albums are are being recorded so loud(or compressed) that they will cause your source to over drive the input on an amp, for these lowering the volume at the source(or gain on the amp) will correct it, but you will have to run a higher volume on your other albums.
