Hip-Hop/R&B/Pop has plenty of that missing (or improperly reproduced) deep sub-bass (that you say is rare in your electronic music collection). I (like you) am hoping the SE846 covers that deep sub-bass sound in a manner similar to the way a subwoofer would (with the appropriate lingering note).
