Hello .
I have hissing problems with my shure se215

  in shares in quieter passages, my source is a sansa clip+ rockbox
with flac file, sorry for my bad english.

 It can be the earphones, my SE530 will hiss on any portable set-up I throw at it. Better sources will reduce the hissing though. The Clip+ isn't a hissy source in my opinion.

If you really want to get rid of the noise, find a source with the lowest possible background noise level.  You will have to find a higher quality source. Other than that, live with it, or change to a less sensitive earphone.

Agree.

I just tried SE215 on Clip+ and I can't hear any hiss. I can see four possibilities: 1) the OP's Clip+ is faulty, 2) the hiss is part of the music or 3) RockBox is making Clip+ hissy, or 4) a curious case of tinnitus.
