Hehe, what makes up that stack? Looks awesome anyhowYep.
I use a rubber band…worse than your silicone band idea, hahahaha
Hi, got a local leather smith to design and make a cover for my KSE1200 amp recently. Pretty happy with what he did, although is maybe a little too ‘rustic’ for some, the thicker leather will provide a bit of protection if I accidentally drop it. Only A$50, so a reasonable price.

Might be able to repurpose a 10-round magazine or small pocket pistol holster.Great idea!!!! I was thinking neoprene might be good too
Older post, but I can say 100% there is no problem with magnet interference. I have thin but strong Neodymium magnets holding KSE1200 to WM1Z and zero problems with either. I'm pretty sure I posted a picture on this thread a year or more ago.Thank you for the replies everyone. I will continue to use my silicon band then.
I am interested in trying out the Khadas Tea Bluetooth amplifier (https://www.khadas.com/tea), whose dimensions line-up almost perfectly with the KSE1200SYS amplifier.
However, first I would like to know if the KSE1200 amp is "magsafe" (i.e. can it be near magnets). Anyone know?
thanks. It's the Duoo X10Tii, Mojo2, kse1200.Hehe, what makes up that stack? Looks awesome anyhow
I've been pondering a DAC/amp upgrade, so I've been wondering the same thing. I'm really impressed with my current system's realism, and would be surprised if a more expensive DAC could make it more realistic. But, I can't see all of the $500+ DACs sounding worse, so...What are the best daps/dacs with the kse1200?
Tera Player pairs up nicelyWhat are the best daps/dacs with the kse1200?
I’ve found the best match is with a Sony NW-WMZ1. I’ve tried them with an Ibasso DX200, Lotoo PAW Gold, Lotoo PAW 6000mk2 and my desktop system and by far they sound best with the Sony. The Sony is the most expensive of the lot, so you would hope it sounds better (but you can get a Z1 cheaper at the moment as they have a new model). I find with the Sony there is no EQ required either. I’ve also tried the Z1 with a few other headphones and the KSE1200s sound best to me. Not a great sample size I guess, but hard to try every combination. Never heard the Tera player.I've been pondering a DAC/amp upgrade, so I've been wondering the same thing. There is a reset switch on the energiser, try pressing that with a long thin non-conductive pokey thing.I have a question for the forum. I charged my 1200s overnight and rather than the led being green on the morning as usual, it was still orange. I tried changing them for a few more hours, but same result. The amp and headphones are still working normally and still seem to operate for a reasonable length of time (although my usage is fairly random, so I have no real idea if the battery life is reduced). I have had the KSE1200s for over 3 years and they were purchased second hand, so I don’t really know how old they are. I have searched this thread and googled this issue (not extensively) but haven’t found any similar problems. My guess would be that the battery is getting old and is not able to charge fully anymore, so the sensor in the charging circuit of the amp doesn’t ever go green. Anyone had a similar experience? I might message Shure themselves if no ideas here
