Hahaha!
Just wanted to say, it seems Moon-Audio receives their first batch tomorrow... ... ...
SUPER tempted... If they arrive at major retailers as well, I'll probably bite. But I'll use somewhere when I can pay via Paypal...

i wana buy them to have fun but i have TH900, kind of sad that i can't enjoy the hype XD so what will i do is getting it for my GF >=) like that paying the 500$ won't be a bad idea XD i will feel like i enjoyed it too :3
Okey, okey another flagship headphone from Shure. I will wait for more comparison among Mad Dog, Alpha Dog and this one. If I buy this one then I do not need to have a serious powerful amp to drive Mad Dog or Alpha Dog, but the price of Shure SRH1540 is near Alpha Dog which is Jude's favourite headphone now.
Be interesting to hear the 1540, Alpha Dog, W1000x and TH600 compared. I've owned the W1000x, TH600 and now have the TH900. Color me interested in this though as a present for the GF.
side tot:
is it possible for a 40mm driver to get down to 5hz? psychologically my mind cant accept that...
though i have the pro900...haaa. Always felt better having a 50mm or 53mm..psychologically..
i aint no scientist. What do u guys think?

Yeah I think it could...
Have I HEARD one rumble a bit (or try to struggle) at 5Hz? Ermmm. No!
Probably at 10Hz and that's with volume cranked... 15Hz is doable by most of the bass heavy headphones I've tried.
I am wondering how these will compare to the 3.2 MDs as far as sound signature goes. I wanted to upgrade to the ADs but they are not warm enough to my likings (from what I'm reading) for a closed headphone.
Going off Jude's description, these may be just what I am looking for.
Im looking for new pair of noninear headphones and I was argueing Alphadogs or He-400, and how this.. I wonder how they stack against eachother ;_; any insight appreciated <.<
I'm also curious to know how they stack against the AlphaDog. If the AD really is king of neutrality, wouldn't that make it the idea monitor (except for the weight of it)?

Probably not... and hopefully not??
I pretty much enjoy Shure's "house" sound and would definitely like it to be different than the Mad Dogs and Alpha's.
