Whats the other vintage hp you picked up? I'm waiting on a yh-2 that'll be used for another driver transplant in yet another 3d printed hp.

Very cool, where did you buy the HP from?

I bought both (the other one is identical) on an auction site :)

The headphones in top photo are Koss HV/1 I bought new while in high school in the very early 70's

The headphones in bottom photo are Koss PRO/4X PLUS bought later on...but I don't remember exactly when..  Somewhere around late 70's I think while in college.

Both were bought new and still work fine.  Just put new ear foams on the HV/1

I still can't believe Koss sells the HV/1A foam for $5 on their web site, now that's service.

Here's the latest addition to my small but (slowly) growing vintage collection: Pickering PH-4955.

And although they are a giant among the headphones and heavy to boot they aren't uncomfortable to wear thanks to really soft leather pads and headband. I'm tempted to open them up and do the blu-tack mod with some added fiberfill and maybe replacing the caps to a fresh ones.

what is it called?

Adastra Stereo Headphones, Model H25. I've never heard of that before I found it on ebay and I decided to play the vintage lottery and buy it.

Nice and congrats!
I think I was watching those same headphones a while back on eBay but I decided to go for Pickering I showed a few post up. That nice red/black color piqued my interest but I wanted really bad either Pickering or Stanton Dynaphase Sixty for modding/refurbishing project.
