Pretty much a Sony OEM!

I was going to write that but BURNART beat me to the punch. Looks like a CD1000 or CD3000 without the suspension headband and a slightly different cup shape. Do you know what are the drivers in there, out of curiosity?

Diamond evaporated diaphragm, from appearance alone it looks like every other Sony with a diamond diaphgram but looks most similar to a V900 driver though I havent ever seen a CD950 one

Hi everyone again, I got a DT 880 now too :L3000: (Currently it has my Superlux's old pads on it because the old ones stink, I will replace them)

Does anyone know if the newer style headband (pictured below) could fit my older DT 880 and perhaps be more comfortable?
Just a thought before I order replacement pads for it.

Also one more question, how do I remove the cable's "mouldy / dusty" smell?

No they wouldn't fit, the vintage beyers had a different style headband

As for the mouldy smell, easiest would be an ozone chamber but I also find just leaving it out helps
