'96 Maxima, and 98 Q45. Originally I had my heart set on a '96 Q with 30k miles on it! Hardly broken in, pristine inside and out!! But, my wife hesitated because it was a black car (and looked too masculine) and the day we decided to buy it someone else beat us out on the deal!

I think that was the last year with the 4.5L engine, now it's a 4.1. From what I recall '95 and earlier were slightly faster due to less restrictive emissions control (?). But, the current one is fast enough, even at 120 you can feel it has a lot more to offer!

Haha yeah, early Q45s had close to 300hp, they're tanks but they're really quick. Sucks you missed out on that deal... I'm wishing I had a variable intake and ypipe on my car so I could still pull decently from 120+ haha, but I don't do that very often so it's not a huge deal...

What's the skinny on the maxipad? GXE, SE, GLE, auto, 5sp, color?

Mine's a really dark green '97 SE manual... also with the bose.

I did an aux input mod with the bose headunit, so I can play my ipod through it (requires some soldering) but it's actually not at all a bad stereo for stock in a '97... I'm pretty impressed with it.

Haha... I prefer rollin' via Metrocard than driving. Don't have to worry about the car being damaged, parking spaces, gas prices, etc etc... Oh yeah and most of the time ,it's a hell lot faster than driving through the city. Ziing! Perfect combo with a weekend fun car.
