My car is a boring minivan, but my buddy's wife just got a big promotion and this BMW 645ci as a company car. She let him bring it over last night so we could take it out for a spin. In the immortal words of Borat ..... "VERY NICE".

Heh.... I'm a carpenter. Need to haul around a ***tload of tools and sometimes materials. the corvette was becomming a driveway queen. I think i only put like 5k miles on it in the 7 or 8 years that i owned it.

On the bright side... the Lightning does 0-60 in 5.2 sec and the 1/4 in 13.6 bone stock, so it isn't like it's boring to drive or anything

Yes, it's a 5.4l SOHC supercharged (factory) 380hp, 450lb/ft tq, is almost 4800lb curb weight(w/empty bed) and has a 5,000lb towing capacity. Gas.... if you keep your foot out of the boost, is around 16/24 city/hwy average. All in all... a very fun pickup. (sticks like glue in the twisties too)

I suppose you mean 16 miles to the gallon... which, in euro-terms, means 7 kilometres per litre.
A thirsty little bugger :p
My Mazda 3 does almost 20 km per litre, which would mean... hmm... 48 miles per gallon. Then again, it takes a rather lazy 10 and a half seconds to get from 0 to 60...

*sigh* I wish there were fast, powerful AND fuel efficient engines.

Though I have reservations about its actual capabilities and durability
