The nozzle? Pretty shallow actually.
Yeah, that is what I was afraid of, I've found that particular shell shape with short nozzle (Barrel for the meager mind) no worky 4 me  LOL Look nice anyway and if the iem fits :beerchug:

“As a tonewood, cocobolo is considered relatively bright. Its low-end is present, though not nearly as much as rosewood. Its superb clarity and responsiveness are largely due to its moderate decay, particularly in the bright overtones. It's an articulate tonewood with a lovely treble and upper-midrange.

On this Sarn II I chose a drier type Cocobolo which contains less oil to focus, define and open the mids, upper mids and high frequencies further. Well that worked and worked way past my expectation. Vocals move a step forward and the mids, upper mids and higher frequencies. For a dynamic driver the clarity, detail retrieval, layering and separation is amazing. The bass regions are well controlled and more than adequate for non bass-head like me. I love it and can’t get enough of how this pair transpired.

This could be all mumbo jumbo stuff but for it’s entry fee of way under $200 it worth a try if you’re curious.

This is my second pair of 634ears Sarn II. First set was a hybrid of two tonewood, ebony and cocobolo, which this set in comparison offers a smoother darker presentation, a smidge more bass and rounder.

LOAK next? or should I go 3rd Sarn II pair with even less oily content driest Cocobolo. It’s a drug at this point and I love wood lol.

Anyway, It is good to see that there are iem/earphone/headphone modders and or small brands/manufacturer/s that allow you to custom tune your set all they way down to the choices of materials.
