Should Head-Fi use StupidFilter?

No, such a filter is almost as dumb as it's purpose.

No, of course not. You'd need real AI for that, and beyond a certain point it's simply subjective; after all, a sufficiently advanced AI would probably filter out the whole of human discourse, which isn't the idea.

HeadFi doesn't need it, but there are other sites that could certainly use it.

Because, If you read how the filter works, it bases its decision purely on sentence structure, spelling and grammar. Not actual content.

Pretty useless, considering how forums are international, and many people do not have English as a first language. So this filter would most likely block many of their posts.

No need for a stupid filter, the smarter members routinely "correct"(flame?) the less fortunate amoung us. :wink:
