No, I was listing reasons why I was unsurprised when it was confirmed that an Asian American was the shooter.

/As opposed to being surprised when I heard that a Chinese foreign exchange student was the shooter though.

Isn't that reaching then, especially if there's no evidence supporting it? Maybe he was just treated poorly by white folk in general (pretty common), or uh... insane. (slightly less common)
