Heh I read the apple one before. I don't trust myself with that--I'd bite into it.
Bottle cap sounds like a good idea! Does it have to be exactly 1", or >= 1"?

I do not think it matters all that much. So long as you can keep your mouth open (to x width) for a prolonged period of time, you should be OK.
