If it's set to UAC1.0 and correctly recognized, you can try to run the software update.
OK, that was an experience.
I first tried running the .bat file with admin privileges, couldn't find the device.
Then without admin privileges it found the device but got stuck at 0%, and then eventually complained about the device not responding.
Windows can see it the whole time, but I unplug and plug back in anyway, run the .bat file again without admin privileges, and this time it gets to 100%, I can see the device restart, everything goes down without a hitch.
But my "Version Minor" and "Config Version" went from 0 and 1 to 1 and 2 respectively after the update. Despite the fact that my previous firmware was also 1.6.3. What on earth is that about?
Don't think it fixed my problem though. Device still turns itself off in few seconds despite showing full battery bars (with the last bar blinking while plugged in).
