I'm using EM5 in combination with Hifiman Edition XS and I'm very satisfied with the sound.

Landed safely, with latest fw, since when checked OTA no update available.
OOTB sound bright-ish and lack of low with my ÆON flow closed in BAL

Looks really nice! I think the EM5 was always screaming for a tillable screen. Looking forward to seeing more details of the EM7 emerge over the weekend.

Hi @Shanling how to connect Wireless Projection (WP)?
EM5 WP enabled - Eddict Player WP does not detect any. Both EM5 and my phone connect with same WIFI.
I am using poco x3 android 11

Disable and enable WP again until the Eddict player find your phone. I've done this step everytime when turn on the EM5.,

If all seems set correctly, but it's not detecting, unfortunately can only recommend to keep turning on/off wireless projection on the EM5, until it shows up.

There is new app update coming this week, that should help a bit with this according to software team.

Looks great, but for me the EM7 will live or die based off its software. I already have issues with the EM5 software features/stability that I detailed in a previous post, and if the EM7 is more of the same, but with better hardware, it's a hard pass for me. Maybe if I didn't already own the EM5 and the price difference ends up being reasonable.

I really like the tiltable screen, but that's not enough of an upgrade over the EM5 to justify selling it and upgrading to the new model.
More power? EM5 has 1.6W per channel at 32Ohms. That's enough to drive anything I have that I can throw at it.
Faster CPU? It's not like the EM5 is having trouble playing music.

If it has something like Roon support and/or Tidal Connect, I'll think about it.

@Shanling Any plans for an EA7? Been trying to get my hands on an EA5 but none of the NA vendors have them available.
