I personally haven't tried shanling daps before so I don't really know what sound signature they like to tune. I liked cayin n6 ii & n8 but dislike ibasso and fiio!

I might give m8 a try but I also really like and enjoy alot zx507...
Not sure how m8 vs zx507 sounds but zx507 isn't considered to be a flagship, still sounds remarkably close to 1z.

M6 and M6 Pro sound fantastic so M8 is quite exciting

3) We only made silicone case for Q1, for other players it was only leather case. But there are some third party alternatives.

M3s and M5s, for both of these lines it was around 3 years between generations. And it came with very significant changes to overall design of the player.
And there won't be M8 Pro.

M8's body is made from glass panels and aluminium frame.

Do we have any info on dimension of M8? If it's as big as Hibty R8, not interested.
