Please tell me that this isn't for real when you put the gain on Turbo (I'm refering to the animation which I hope has been somehow added for the below video...):

Ugh.... It's real. But you can turn it off in display settings!

A few questions, please:
Does this player support gapless playback, or is it a matter of music app used?
Can UAPP be installed? If so, is there any loss of native sound quality?
Does SE use both DACs?
Thanks

There is no gapless? Why? Everyone paid attention to it.

There is no update to the library layout.

There is no "album artist".

There is still a spelling mistake in the "Artist" tab in Polish ("Astysta" and not "Artist").

Do you not read our comments or are you just ignoring them? I'm disappointed.

Just wait and be patient. There are many things that Shanling have to do as a company. Just be happy that Shanlingnis listening and working each day to improve the firmware
Gapless is a basic functionality in most players on the market. With Shanling it is a "process". C`mon!
Sony never cared for it

"Most players" don't sound anywhere near this good. Lack of gapless playback is a very small sacrifice in the short term.

Edit: 83% downloaded...I'm curious to see if they've fixed the file indexing issues made the Shanling player less laggy...this would be a huge win for me.

Sony never cared for it

But pleading for patience when Shanling just released the new software is a bit grotesque. You'll agree with me?

PS. ibasso has always had gapless in all devices, since the DX50.

It was supposed to be corrected, but it is not. There is no need to add philosophy to it.

I'm not adding "philosophy" I'm just saying the petulant tone of your earlier post was uncalled for and that there is far far more to like than not like with what Shanling is doing with the M8.
