The M8 is a peach, but having system-wide EQ would turn it into fine peach cobbler.

Assuming it works with streaming... I would love to have the ability to equalize and then jump straight to Tidal or Qobuz instead of having to use UAPP to EQ, for example.

It just adds versatility.

Yeah I have gotten used to reactive DAPs with DX300, R8, RS6 and although in absolute terms the M8 fares well for its SoC it's time to upgrade
And always had itchy fingers so... M9 will be limited quantity, I want M8 goodness with modern SoC

I don't ever use EQ...it ruins the overall sound quality IMHO.

I don't know about others but since the latest update my M8 has been behaving much worse than before. The Tidal app crashes a lot now. I thought it was the SD cards but after removing them and doing factory reset 2 times , deleting the offline content and redownloading everything on the internal storage ,the problem persists.
Maybe I was just very unlucky but the M8 has been a headache to deal with from day one.
