Sounds like we have similar tastes - I almost pulled the trigger on the 3DT in the July sales, but I needed (correction: wanted) a portable DAP to complement my DX300 more. I've got the MEST2 to provide my BC/EST fix - time to see fit a free things play with the Pro21.

On a related note, anyone have any impressions of the ME700 with the Pro or Pro21?

This is where I picked up that idea. I was just referencing your post earlier in the thread. Anyway if no update is planned - no problem from my perspective - I'm still excited that my M6P21 will be here Monday. With how impressed I was with the M3X, I'm pretty stoked about this one. I just picked up both the IMR Elysium and Astra - which will love the additional power and detail. The Elysium (planar, bone conduction & ADLC DD) sounded pretty spectacular paired to the M3X.... So I've got big expectations with the M6 Pro 21

I ordered Sunday night from the Shanling Official Store - It took them 2 days to process the order but they sent them out on day 3 (Wednesday) via DHL so I'm scheduled for delivery Mondy. I am R E A L L Y interested to hear your initial impressionsof the 6Pro21 - I'm pretty psyched to get mine - I'm currently DAPless having sold the M3X and LP6K in the same week.

Just one note - We do not run any store directly. That Aliexpress store is run by one of our Chinese dealer, they are "Official store for Aliexpress".

Does your amplifier use Balanced inputs? If so, then it's fine to connect it with 4.4mm output.

Yes its balanced. Actually it is more bcs the m6pro doesnt do LO which means its by passing the amp from the dap is what concern me bcs it might act as obstacle if i connect it to amp.

There is no dedicated line out circuit in M6 Pro. But for majority of amplifiers it represents no issue.

Just got notice my M6 Pro 21 is our for delivery - 2 Days Early. It left HKG on Wednesday, hit LAX last night. Was transferred to Vancouver, landing at 8:30 this morning and it's already out for delivery! I'm pretty excited. Cant wait to share my impressions as there aren't many of them floating around yet!

I Got Mail!
I havent even had my first listen yet ..... that's about 5 minutes away. 485GB library is just being scanned. First impressions on opening packaing (and honestly I dont care about unboxings) but this thing is beautifully packaged with a lustrous pearescent outer box overlaying a textured golden bronze top cover. Open it up and the M621 Pro is gorgeous. And It's big (tall). but its beautiful I snapped a couple pics with my phone but the lighting and shadows dont do it any justice. I thought the M3X screen was beautiful. This is stunning and it's fast and fluid. The 4GB of ram make a difference to scan time too. What was 20 minutes on the M3X > Same SD Card scanned and sorted in about 8.

I'll be back with some listening impressions - but so far, superficially, i'm super impressed.

Ok, first impressions. Wow just wow. Its fast and fluid and perfectly balanced. It's not warm it's not cold or sterile. I do believe in burn-in and this is nowhere near it but straight out of the box the low end is deep and wide with tons of texture and beautifully controlled through both the bass and sub-bass. Very nice weight to the notes. Strings and voices are gorgeous with nice wide staging. I know IEMS influence this and I havent done any rolling of IEMS yet - I'm using my UM 3DTs because they probably have the best timbre and aren't overly bassy while some (not me) complain about a bit of splashiness at around 8K. I hear none of it. The mids are creamy beautiful and the top end is crystal clear airy and sparkly. On low gain, I'm pushing the 3DTs to my personal hearing limit at 30 / 100 - this thing has tons of juice to drive anything.

Early Days .... More to come.....

I'll just add that I almost always EQ up 4K, 8K and 16K and with some IEMs a little on the low end at 31 and 62 hz ..... this thing with the 3 DTs needs nothing. Me very happy.

I would be happy to be able to read insights or opinions in particular on the sound qualities compared to the dx300.

Hello @Shanling can you say for sure that the body of M6, M6 Pro, M6 Pro 21 are the same and that a case for M6 will fit M6 Pro 21... I bought a silicone case for Pro 21 but it doesn't fit. Vendor now says it not defective case its because the case will not fit M6 Pro 21 on M6 and M6 Pro. What can you tell me?

Yes I bought a case from Music Teck and it fits just like it does on my M6 Pro and my My M6 pro 21 just to let you know my M6 pro case I bought from Music Teck for it 6 months ago fits on my M6 Pro 21, i have both the black one and the brown one both are interchangeable

M6 Pro and M6 Pro 21 are identical in shape.

M6/M6 21 are different from M6 Pro / M6 Pro 21 (top right corner on M6 is rounded, M6 Pro is symmetrical).

M6 Pro leather case will fit properly on M6 Pro & M6 Pro 21.
M6 leather case will fit all 4 version, but Pro variants will have the upper right edge unprotected.
