Shanling M6 PRO - New version coming Summer 2021

Did anyone manage to synclink their M6 pro to an iPhone via Eddict Player? I thought I was doing something wrong until I updated my Q1, the app just refuses to detect the the M6 Pro.

Got my Shanling M6 Pro 21 ordered from MusicTeck along with a brown leather case. I chose a Tatinium-gold version. Can't wait to get my hands on it. I didn't see a pre-order date on it, so I thinking they have them in stock and will be shipping them out as you order it. Also the case says its for a M6 Pro , but i read that they work on it.

Go to system settings, language setting is at the bottom (globe icon). Then click on the first item.

I like the new Shanling M6 Pro 21 better than the old version..The sound is better to my ears , Songs just sound much better , there is more punch it seems like more soundstage an everything is clearer. The guitars sound much better, drums and cymbals are much more cleaner, horns seem brighter vocals much more vibrant bass has more punch.I listen to early 70's rock and Prog, early 70's Kraut Rock and late 60's pysch. All of this has me hearing things much better and stuff i never noticed before.My Campfire Andromeda sound much better more like my Focal, Dan Clark, Hifi Man and Campfire Cascade headphones. This new version has made even my Moondrop Blessing 2 anf Mangrid Tea IEM sound like a better IEM. I,m glad I bought it. The only thing is I'm having the problem like before where the folders don't show up on my computer. like i had with the old M6 Pro, I forgot what did to get it show up. I've tried unmount sd card, restarting M6 pro and re inserting the sd card, so far it just shows the sd card is blank, yet the Shanling player shows all 56,640 songs on it . Does anybody know other things to try, like i said i got the other player to finally show all 36 folders of the different Genres to show up i just don't remember had i did it, any help would be great.. thats one of the reasons i was hoping for a android upgrade in this version

If you are having with folders not showing on Windows, you can try to turn on USB debugging in developer options, that seems to help for some users.

The guy that is doing them reviews. Did a good job laying out the specs and such. However what does he mean by dry? I see him saying that over and over again on Shanling daps. My definition of dry has nothing to do with how Shanling daps sound like. Lol. I own 3 shanling daps and to me none of them sound dry or at least the meaning I am thinking of.

I dont know what the intended meaning behind how he is describing the sound there but dry to me means sound that is flaky maybe a bit one note/ plane jane and has nothing to do with immersion or the opposite liquid like tone. He has got to stop using that term or find a better way to describe the sound. I appreciate the review there but I have no idea what he means by DRY. 1624586988319.png

Any further impressions of the M6 21 Pro that anyone cares to share? I'd love to read a few more impressions, i'm that close.....

OK, I'm a little late to this discussion but I can tell you Hiby App does not change the gain when EQ is activated. UAPP does, but you can offset it with a separate gain setting with each custom EQ setting you make in UAPP; you can also disable gain adjust in the EQ settings.

On another note, I've been so impressed with the M3X that I sold my Lotoo PAW 6000 (yes IMO, the M3X mostly outperforms it - except maybe the background on the LP6K is a little blacker marginally). Anyway, I love the M3X so much I'm going for the M6 Pro 21 - anyone in here have it and want to weigh in about your impressions of it?
