Yes without any problem. After new firmware installed, you find playstore on apkpure or similar and install

Thank you, one more question before i pulling the trigger here in my country with your authorized dealer, what's the policy of your product support, i mean this is 1 year warranty right, afaik.

What if when warranty already expire, and i want to exchange battery or something bad happened to my dap, not physical damage (like brick, critical error dst), can i go ask your dealer to fix it and send it to you (off couse i dont mind to pay for some component if warranty already expire, if that's reasonable off course), i just want to make sure your product support is well maintained, even with the warranty is already expire, because i knew there's some manufacture that refuse to fix if warranty already off, and suggest the buyer to buy the new one instead, with the reason that product already discontinued, i just want to make sure here, thanks.

Wife spoiled me with a new M6 Pro for my birthday! Question - How do I make my equalizer settings stay set? I'll change one of the stock settings (rock for example) to my preferred settings. Then I will change another stock setting to accommodate a different headphone. When I switch back to previous EQ settings, my work is gone, and it defaults back to the stock settings.
Just a quick few thoughts so far - This device is solidly constructed and screams quality. It feels great in hand.
Comparing and contrasting with my Hiby R5 - The M6 Pro sounds quite a bit more analog, it's a beautiful thing. I'm not hearing any bleed or muddling between frequencies. The bass is considerably more tight and layered. The presentation is smooth and velvet like (Just how people generally refer to the AKM dac chips). It's way more spacious than the R5, the soundstage is bigger in every direction. Instrument positioning and placement is simple to envision. The separation is pretty incredible, noticeably better than the R5. Upper mids have the perfect amount of extension to sparkle without ever getting to harsh or bright. Just a touch of warmth in the low mids to keep it groovy. Not sterile or overly analytical in any way. Vocals are the star of the show imo. They sound just slightly in front of everything else. With the R5, main and backup vocals are somewhat melded together. Not with the M6 Pro - different positional cues, more similar to a live performance.
This dap is incredibly musical, without reaching too far into a strictly fun presentation. My 192 vinyl flac rips are something else with this awesome music maker. I love that analog sound. Kinda reminds of listening to my Dad's old reel to reel back in the late 70s haha. So that's it, I've found my end game dap as far as I'm concerned. I just ordered the Kennerton Magni, and I can't wait to hear them now.
One strange thing I've noticed - My R5 seems to have more power? Is this correct? I believe the R5 puts out 564mw per channel. M6 Pro at 600mw in turbo gain? Listening with my fabulous Ibasso SR2, R5 between 65 and 75 volume steps, M6 Pro between 80 and 90 to reach similar volumes. Not sure. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me make my EQ settings stay put.

Warranty with your local seller is dictated by your local laws. Most of them are 1 year, some others have it set at 2 years.

We are able to service anything on our players, if it's out of warranty or even damaged by user(example being dropped and cracked screen). You can either order replacement parts through our local distributors(and we are preparing to have them available also on Aliexpress store) or have the unit shipped to us for repair. As long as we have spare parts, we are able to fix it. And normally we keep enough spare parts for a few years after device is discontinued.

The EQ has no way how to save it unfortunately. :frowning2:

With EQ enabled, there is negative gain adjustment. You need to turn off EQ to get the full power of the device.

That's a major bummer. I've never owned a device that wouldn't allow me to save EQ settings, and I'm not sure why that happened. Was this just an oversight, or was it intended this way? Seems kind of silly. A lot of people use EQ. Is this something that can be addressed with firmware updates? Honestly, I'm not sure I want to keep it now. I definitely don't want to have to adjust the EQ every time I'm going to use it.

It's not intended, just wasn't fixed yet.

If you arebig into EQ, I would recommend maybe switching to different software player. EQ in our app is fairly basic and you can get more advanced results with other software.

Basic EQ is fine. There's no such thing as the perfect headset - dips, spikes, etc. I prefer to taylor the sound of each of my headphones to my desired preferences. When you say "not fixed yet", does this mean that it will be addressed in the future? Thanks for the tip, I suppose I could run a different music app, but I really like the Shanling player. How much would switching to something like UAPP chang the sound, if any at all?

Yes, our intention is to fix EQ and have it working properly.

WHen switching to different app, it will only affect DSD playback, which will be run as D2P instead.

Hi shanling i got a problem here

I just bought this M6 Pro and it seemed i cannot connect it to my laptop to be used as usb dac (refuse to detected), in my desktop pc the device detected, but in my laptop it didnot, any possiblity what happened ?! It's just weird, i;m using the same driver here since if i tried to download from your website, i encountered error so the only option is download via google drive below

https://www.head-fi.org/threads/int...able-music-player.927985/page-5#post-15545724

The driver works but sadly only on my desktop, laptop refused to detected it on usb dac mode (the driver itself didnot detected it)

Here's the picture i connected in my laptop and also installing the driver, i already did restart or resintall, restarting my laptop, but it's still didnot work, this happened only on my laptop as i mentioned above, maybe there's some fix on this, the laptop is lenovo S340, 2020 release and also already update the windows (using windows 10), i wonder what's wrong, i already update it to the newest firmware.

Also for helping you diagnose the problem, i inform that my m6 pro can be detected normally when it not be used as usb dac such as moving file, charge the device, only the usb dac mode it refused to be detected by driver and simply cannot be used on my laptop

When i;m in usb dac mode on my m6 pro and connect directly to my laptop, nothing happened only connected sound and then nothing, but in my desktop it can be detected automatically and can be see in volume playback device.

Oh i also had shanling UP4 and weirdly it can be detected on this same laptop perfectly and used as usb dac, still confuse here what's wrong.

If my usb port in my laptop is broken or error, i wonder why shanling UP4 can be detected perfectly and use normally, this just weird, so there's something i miss here, i hope you can help with this.

Update : i found this on my laptop (see picture below), in my desktop there's no error like that on composite usb, i wonder how to fix those, even with driver installed, it's still like that, its definitely from m6 pro, when i disconnect the usb, that composite device are gone.

At first try to uninstall this device from device manager(right click on it and "uninstall device", uninstall Shanling drivers and then try it all again. As M6 Pro works with your desktop just fine, it will be some software glitch on your Lenovo.

UP4 is using basic USB solution that works without drivers, so that will work anytime.
