Honestly we have such a weird hobby that we really talk directly to the major manufacturers.
They are so satisfied with the device that they quit the hobby and called it a day leaving us addicts in the dark, giggling while they watch us getting mad nearly exploding from all the suspense waiting for any news
Anyone had a chance to compare the M5s to the old M5?
For me, the M5 is still a fine sounding product. However, I find it’s amp to be its weak spot so I usually use it with an external amp and the results are excellent. If the M5s is a significant step up I’d certainly be interested.
If I have to .... buy a DAP on my own, it is definitely the Shanling M5s. Simply because it is “best for the money” now!
If ... Santa could bring a Xmax gift, it would be another alternative DAP: a Cowon PLENUE 2 Mark Ⅱ! This device is so beautiful! (and over price (2.5K usd on amazon ) too)!
