Is it me or does the M5s look like M3s with a touchscreen? Ha ha. Dimensions? Battery life? and most importantly price? Looks cool, but was hoping for a design/size more like M2s or hiby R3.

I’m sure many more exacting details will follow.

Standard 2.5 balanced. 3.5 would only lead to confused people connecting unbalanced headphones into wrong port and causing some damage.

AK4493EQ is latest DAC from AKM, positioned under AK4497, but above older (and still widely used) AK4490.

This is their chart "showing" the audio quality. Bigger bubble means better sound.

Does it support Spotify?

Well, currently you can only get Spotify on iOS/Android, they are not really open to any third party system. That's why you don't see Spotify on any non-android DAP. And Shanling M5s doesn't run on Android.
