Shanling M3X Portable Player - Our smallest Android Player

Hi all. First post...long time lurker. I seem to he having sluggish behavior as well as wifi dropouts with my M3X. I primarily use the Tidal app as well as UAPP for mqa. Memory card is a quality Samsung 512g. It randomly shows to a crawl, and my wifi seems to drop every few minutes or so. I've done a hard (factory) reset and I am running current firmware. Any advice is welcome. Thanks!

Try connecting to 2.4ghz only, then on your router, put it in 20hz band for maximum compatibility. I haven't experience that on.my m3x, so the thing I can think of is your router

It doesn't happen so often, but maybe every couple of weeks I'll encounter a volume glitch. When it happens, there is no way to adjust the volume, it's just set at whatever it's at and the scroll wheel will have no effect. I use UAPP, but shutting UAPP down and reopening it doesn't fix the problem, nor does unattaching and reattaching the headphones. The only fix is to shut off the machine and restart it... which is a little annoying due to the lengthy startup time. Is there any fix for this, when it happens? @Shanling or anyone? Has anyone else had this issue? I think I'm using the latest firmware for the player. Thank you.

Does this happen when you are running offline files in Tidal? Our software team recommends to use only internal memory for this.

Nailed it! Thank you!!! I deleted/reformatted the SD card with all the Tidal downloads. Guess I'll just stream since I'm never offline anyway. This was great CS

Hi all, sorry for the noob question but is there a way of creating playlists on PC or MAC after connecting m3x to them? It's really frustrating to create playlist on that small screen!

You can create playlist in any decent playlist creator on PC, just make sure it follows the same structure as playlists in our app and it will work fine.

Best is to export one playlist and copy its structure.

1. Fixed issue with playback from USB drives.
2. Added Czech language to the system.
3. Adjusted USB Out volume control.
4. Improved Synclink performance.
5. Added SMB support to Shanling Music app.
6. Other bug fixes and system improvements.

@Shanling Hi, I've had M3X since Feb this year. Every once in awhile someway through the track, it will "skip", something like what you will experience with a CD player, and there will be a second or 2 of silence before the music plays again. I will rewind and it will play through "skipped" parts without any issue. Thus it is not due to the music not ripped properly. It is quite annoying. Would like to know what are the possible causes.

Does anyone else experience this as well?
