I just received my m3x, so far so good. Only thing I am a bit disappointed is that I can’t use SyncLink with my iphone hey @Shanling , any plan on implementing this for ios devices???

Yes, we have plans for it. But as with other things on iOS, it's not that easy.

That silicone case...does it come with normal M3X as well @Shanling ?

We do not make silicone case.

Another question guys. When I was listening my songs for the first time I remember seeing MQA logo and blue dot under the cover art. However today (same song) I can’t see any indicator under the cover art as you can see from the screenshots below:


First screenshot shows that the song is an MQA file but you can see in the second screenshot it doesn’t show a blue dot or mqa logo. I am not sure if I changed a setting or something. Has anybody noticed this?

On our devices it works as it should. Getting MQA icon and 705.6kHz sampling rate in status bar.
There is no setting in our app that would affect this.

How do I use my M3X as a dedicated dac for my pc? I connected it with the cable but I can't seem to find the option.

Yeah, I just tried this driver too. Not working for me either. @Shanling could you please link the correct driver to the M3X Downloads page.
Anyway, once the correct driver is installed. Plug the M3X into the PC then on the M3X pull down menu click on SD Card and Change to USB DAC.
Sorry this driver isnt working.

Using Bluetooth for connecting? That's completely different function and has nothing to do with USB input.

Did you switch your M3X from Storage to USB DAC mode? (Accessible in swipe down menu)

However, I am having an issue where downloading albums from streaming services (Spotify and Amazon Music) to the SD card seems to cause the apps to hang indefinitely. I saw @Shanling mentioned an issue regarding downloading albums to the SD card earlier in the thread. Is this the same known issue?

Software team recommends to use only internal memory for downloading these files for offline playback.

Yes, we are getting such reports from some users. Hoping to have it fixed with next firmware update.

Hi @Shanling, is the sample rate that appears on screen only available by using the shanling app and certain apps? When i use hiby music the sample rate doesn't change according to the song played.

You mean on the top display bar? If so, mine changes according to the song, and I am using hiby too

Yes, the one on the top.
Mine doesn't change once it reaches 705.6khz. The next song has 44.1khz and it still showing 705khz

Are you running something with MQA? Seems some app by accident got M3X stuck in the 16X MQA mode or something?
