Many thanksYou need to put your Playlist into the Playlist folder of Shanling app.
On internal memory - "shanlingApp" - "Playlist". Just copy your m3u playlist there and then in the Shanling music app go to playlists and click on the Import playlist icon(second from left).
Please make sure that you have your playlist formatted correctly. Best to create one playlists in the app, export it and copy its structure for your other playlists.

Shanling M3X Portable Player - Our smallest Android Player
Apologies I’m missing something. I attach device to windows 10 computer. Use transfer files action to enable sight of drives. However this only shows Internal Shared Storage, nothing else apart from the SD card. I can’t find ShanlingApp within any of those folders within Internal Shared Storage. Any idea where I’m going wrong here? You need to put your Playlist into the Playlist folder of Shanling app.

Create one playlist in the app(just with one song is enough) and export it. That will automatically create the folder on internal storage.Apologies I’m missing something. So I think the single DAC mode on this sounds like it loses some of the music, but dual DAC mode on either output sounds just as good as the SR25 to me. I think the M3X is the 20 hour Android DAP to get. Yes Android 7 is kinda old at this point but as long as Shanling supports it, then the OS should be fine enough. I can finally stream YouTube (I find a lot of tracks that way), alongside Spotify and Tidal and use full fat Android for some further customization. It's not built as nicely as the SR25 (my god that thing is a literal gem, especially in all red), but the M3X is the closest thing to me as an Android counterpart of the iTouch. If only the software of the M3X was in the body of the SR25. That'd be the perfect Android DAP for me.
I will miss the SR25, but the M3X is far more functional while sacrificing no sound quality.
Edit: a word

@Shanling Is the DAC comes with only 2 dac filters presently? Will there be more in future updates?
Right now we have no plans to add further digital filters.@Shanling Is the DAC comes with only 2 dac filters presently? Will there be more in future updates?

Just want to say that I received exemplary support responses today from Shanling when I asked in PMs about current MQA status for the new MX3 that I just received. Apparently the MQA certification has been given for this DAP but if you stream or download Tidal Master track/albums now they will not be further unfolded to 16X since Shanling is waiting on a future Tidal update version that supports the MX3 MQA unfolding. MQA albums/tracks that are obtained elsewhere and stored locally on the DAP will be heard at 16X unfolding as I was able to verify today. Shanling stated that a notification of this future Tidal update will be posted within this MX3 forum.

Great feedback there. Are you still experiencing distortion on the 3.5mm output or has this gone away?So I think the single DAC mode on this sounds like it loses some of the music, but dual DAC mode on either output sounds just as good as the SR25 to me. I was told that it cannot yet unfold any Tidal Master tracks/albums and I assume that would apply for using Tidal with UAPP also.Have you tried with UAPP?
Really intrigued about this as a more portable alternative to my M8. What is the battery life on balanced? Is the SQ (particularly the bass) up to Shanling's usual lofty standards?
