Our software team recommends using only internal memory for the offline data of streaming services. Some of the apps have issue recognizing cards inserted into M3X, so they revert to internal memory.

The shanling player app wont auto pause the playback after diconnecting the audio jack although already enabling it via the setting

i paired my m3x with my desktop computer via bluetooth and used the app "bluetooth audio reciever" to connect the two devices.
the m3x now shows up as microphone within the windows sound configuration. neat.

however, there is a mild inconvinience: no matter what i try the connecion quality seems limited to sbc.
both the computer and the m3x should be capable of using a higher quality connection type. i have tried variouis settings for connection quality on the m3x, but i have not found any way to do this configuration on my computer.
i have no idea what causes this isue as i am sure my computer used higher qualtiy codex in the past if i had set them in the connected device.
any idea if there is anything i can try to improve this?

Does the bluetooth in your pc support codecs other than SBC? You know just because it is a pc doesn't mean it has everything already. If you are using a cheap bluetooth dongle, chances are there's no support for hi-res

Noooooo.. This is great, but... I barely had my M3X, a month or so.. I should have held out for the new model. I thought they won't release a successor yet.

Just buy external bluetooth adapter, modern pc/laptop doesn't have advanced codec unlike smartphone which has superior bluetoooth chip

Noooooo.. This is great, but... I barely had my M3X, a month or so.. I should have held out for the new model. I thought they won't release a successor yet.

If that goes with Android 7 or 8, I'm definitely getting a Hiby RSii hahaha

My laptop Asus G14 only support up to aptx, its weird why they don’t include aptx as most of them time our device is ldac or aptx, only apple aac only.

Thats why i still keep my qudelix 5k and can’t make M3X one for all device, on paper it looks good but the moment you nitpick it all sort of problem pop up, random restart while using it as usb dac for example, slow wifi that can’t even update itself via internet (download from drive takes below 10 minutes), unuseable bluetooth reciever on all but ldac, no all eq, an okay player, random “click”ing sound when used as usb transport, etc.
But still one of the best dap on its price (not the Limited one).

I suggest just use m3x as a dap to play music, any other just buy dongles or qudelix 5k for desktop and portable use.

i want to use the nova launcer on my m3x. sadly, the home app is not stored on the m3x, every time i reboot the system it will change to the default home3 launcher.
using adb to remove launcher3 did not fix this behaviour. instead of accepting nova launcher as my default saved home application, after removal of launcher3, the device would ask me after every restart if i wanted the nova launcher or the shanling music app as my default launcher (setting did not get stored).
i tried to grat the launcer more permissions but nothing worked.
nova launcher finally stuck as launcher after removal of com.shanling.MusicApp.
now, i did not use this application. still, it was nice if your software team could fix this. changin the launcher is a customisation option i simply expect from an android device. using the adb to hide pre installed packages is a barrier not everybody is willing to take; removal of the music app also is a step many would not want to take.

This is a decision by the software team to not allow alternative launchers, as they conflict with the prime mode.

just remove the stock launcher and shanling music app via adb using a pc. prime mode will be lost as it's just the shanling music player on foreground. you're better off with other music players
