Shanling M2s Hi-Res DAP with AK4490 + MUSE8920, Bluetooth, & USB Out

Hi guys, I'm a complete noob here so please bear with. I've had my M2s for a few days now and I'm really pleased with it as a replacement for my old iPod Classic. The only issue I have is getting my car head unit to connect to it. When I first connected it it worked fine and had the same functionality as the iPod but now, after loading more music onto the SD card, nothing happens when I plug it in, the device itself says it's connected and displays the USB symbol but the head unit no longer acknowledges it.
I've tried resetting it using the reset button and also the reset option in the settings menu but no joy, if it hadn't worked from the off I would put it down to a compatibility issue but because it was working then suddenly it wasn't I'm a bit confused as to why. Any clues would be much appreciated, I'm connecting the unit via the cars' USB port using the cable that came with it. I'd already updated the unit with the latest firmware before trying it so I'm not sure it's an issue with that? The bluetooth connection works okay in the car but obviously has less functionality and also randomly disconnects itself.

First, try another USB cable.

I would say, try to put card into the card reader that was in M2s' package and try to connect it directly. This way, you will see if the problem is with M2s/card/car.

Do not forget me? Here is Custom fw based on 3.20
Everything is as usual: fixed English by gLer, good font, optimized speed and ability to load custom themes from the SD:/res folder.
Enjoy.

P.S. You can donate on the site in the signature. This is much appreciated.
Hello @XVortex,
Can you be so kind and do the same with the latest 3.30 version? :)

Yesterday , for the first time , i tried the M2S with my Focal Listen Wireless ...

I saw an " S " on top of the screen , so it seems to work only on SBC mode , no APTX

Kinda sad

Please be sure to have "high quality" setting turned on. Also please restart device after first pairing.

@originalsnuffy You're right. In terms of reliability, the M2S is amazing. Both the R3 and MO look amazing too.
@Dobrescu George I'm searching for a DAC with Wi-fi and the capability to run apps. I thought of purchasing the Fiio ones but they are larger in size. Compared to the Ipod touch that's very small. That's the only reason I'm rooting for the Ipod touch.

Have you autioned the Hiby R6? :)

Please check if the jpg are progressive, these are the main problematic ones.
I have the same. Don't know how to check if the .jpg's are progressive, but it is all albums, more than 300.
In play mode, some of them show
