This comment is mainly about OTG.

I had been in firmware 3.1 for quite a while. So 3.2 had some interesting battery bugs and went back to 3.1.

Then I decided to test out OTG with this unit. I had been mainly using my M1 with OTG; and have now decided to sell that and focus (for now) on the M2S. So OTG seemed to have issues with keeping up with 3.1; and I went to the user customized version of 3.0. I had never tried that before. Anyway with my external samsung 512GB SSD unit OTG is going smoothly so far with 3.0. I tried the 256GB Stick with OTG using 3.0; it was still a bit dodgy while so far the SSD drive is going great.

By the way, at least for now, OTG does not seem to be supported on the M0 (per Shanling). I found that interesting.
I suspect that the M0 will end up in my collection at some point. This hobby does not like my pocketbook.

@Shanling Just brought my Shanling M2s and I found out that it does not show the album cover art for many of my flac files. Some album covers show up but the flac's with album cover resolution 1280x1280 does not show up. Any idea on what I can do to make them show up on my M2s. I can't edit 3000 individual song's album cover art.....Can someone find me a solution for this problem.

Please check if the jpg are progressive, these are the main problematic ones.

I took a nice walk today. The second nice day of spring here in the upper tundra.

Yesterday I walked with the Cayin N5II and the FLC8S. Could not get a great bass seal while walking and it was not quite what I had in mind.

Ah but today I went with plan B. The M2S and the Ibasso IT01. Very very nice.

@Shanling Thank You so much. Updating the song's tags using the codec "ID Tag Update" in dBpoweramp limiting the album cover's size to 150 kb and Forcing Embedded Art to jpg solved the issue. Now all the album covers are showing up in my M2s. Also I wanted to know a small thing. I see this message in my M2s, it's not too frequent but the player displays a message saying "Battery Depleted" and turns off. When I power it on, the battery seems to be full. Can you help me with this? The battery never went down below a single point but still I get this message.

That's a known software bug with the latest firmware. Installing firmware 3.0 avoids all the battery and sd card bugs

Was looking for a response to a user a few pages back about the built-in controls affecting USB output volume. Is the USB output bit-perfect by default? Was looking at picking up one of these to replace my Samsung Galaxy S7, both as a source for my Mojo at home and on the road with my 1More Quads.

FW 3.0 seems to be bit-perfect. For whatever reason, the later versions allow the USB volume to be changed with the volume control.

Seriously impressed with this combo, so much so I kinda want to grab a second M2S just in case lol!!! With a super efficient can like the MX4 it's quite stellar
