Yes I love to ramble myself, obviously. And yes speculation is all we have at this point. I'm still waiting for the R4 from hiby, but they might be done with small daps. Or R3 v 2.0. I forget the Chinese don't like to use certain numbers.

I am pretty sure 4 is an unlucky number in Asia or at least China so not likely to see an R4. R3 V2.0 much more likely.

not sure for korean and chinese but death is pronounced as shi which co insides with how the number 4 is said in japanese for asian culture 4 is considered bad luck

The M0 Pro is suppose to be released first and that thread is deader than this one. Honestly what is with all the secrecy? You can't tell me you don't have finalized units to provide specs when these DAP's are coming out in a couple of weeks. All this does is make me apprehensive as I start to think there are production issues and therefore maybe I should just take a pass or certainly wait a long time to see what is actually up with these DAP's. When there are lots of good alternatives out there this might not be a good time to stall.

Well you'll have lots of time to decide it seems. But the specs should be finalized and it's just weird there's not more info. Even a few more pics should be avaliable by this time. Press info etc. Maybe they meant December 2023 ha ha

That is totally fine but don't announce it is coming so early and then leave us hanging. Wait until they are closer to releasing it and can provide specs as this is not the only DAP I am considering. I don't buy a DAP everyday either but this is usually the best time to get one while the deals are on. If I have to wait until January then I might as well wait until Black Friday next year and by then who knows what other DAP's will be released.
