Yes I don't see any M3Ultra, just the M3X and M6Ultra so maybe they mean M3X?

Hmm, weird, same size same dac, same power. Design slightly different with BT 5.0. Don't see much difference, anyways thanks but I'm looking for something smaller with full Android like Sony nwa 105 size but with normal power and balanced. I really didn't care for the design of m3x compared to hiby r5 saber. Gonna keep an eye on m1s though.

Also weird that at least m6Ultra went back to AKM dac. This looks very samey.

Now don't take that as negative, the m3x performed and sounded very good. Probably the fastest of the little'r android daps. I just didn't care for the shape and size. It's easily one of the best small daps you can get. I was just hoping m3ultra was smaller, and not by counting the left cutaway. I'd love and android unit m2s sized. I know the battery would take a hit, but it would be very cool.

I also like body style of original m1, but that would probably be too small for android or even streaming.

Lots of big differences compared to the M3X:

much more powerful Snapdragon 665 SoC vs the Snapdragon 430 on the M3X
3GB RAM vs 2GB RAM on the M3X
Android 10 vs Android 7 on the M3X
Bluetooth 5.0 vs Bluetooth 4.2 on the M3X

Oh yes that's nice, but as I said above I didn't like the design of m3x. I was hoping for something smaller- I never had any problems with how it performed with bt or wifi or ui speed wise.

We do not think it's usable to have Android player smaller than M3X/M3 Ultra with their 4.2 Inch screen. The Android and apps themselves are just not usable if you go to smaller screens.

i think when he meant smaller maybe more slimmer size wize i think the m3x was great but was hoping for soemthing a bit on the slimmer lighter side. but i guess the m1s/mo pro will have to fill the role on small power light weight dap

This might make a nice upgrade from my fiio m6 that I use as a bluetooth server to my portable speakers. I need something that can handle a very large MP3 library.

If this is anything like the other m-touch players it will be an upgrade in sound too.
Yea, I have an original M0 that I use for running with, and it sounds way better than the M6 wired. I'm sure this upgrade M1 will be far better, but with bluetooth, your kinda locked into the sound that the BT speaker/IEM provides. I would really like to have a listen to the M7 with my wired IEM's, but I am not kean on the restocking fee should I not like it.

I actually like the shanling company, but they usually produce money-oriented products in their products, so if they want to make a 100.-usd product, if the product accidentally gives 300.-usd sound, they play with the settings and reduce its sound features and quality to give a full 100.-usd sound, I tried all the compact products, none of them gave sound above the money I gave.
