Still interested, especially if it will be easy for me to get here in the US. Hope you can hook up with a retailer here, whether it's a small one like Headphone.com or a bigger one like B&H Photo. Any word on if it supports in-line remote control? The Android headphones don't seem to control the Pioneer or Onkyo DAPs.

Later we will be on Amazon.com. In-line remote control is not supported, what is a pity.

Thanks.

...if 85 USD was target price for crowdfunding, in retail it will not 150+ USD...

Quote:
Official MSRP is USD149. Price may vary in different district due to the difference on cost, duty, etc.

Thanks.

That's REAL close. Hopefully the MRSP is the type where they exaggerate the price and offer it with discount by default.

Ouch. 149$. I probably won't buy it at that price. I do hope it will fall in the coming months.

The form factor and features of the M1 make it a unique player in its class. Comparisons to larger DAPs (at the same price) do not make sense.
The only real competition is the Hidiz AP60(90$) which is also compact and feature packed.

I'd probably wait for a few reviews(of both) to come out. A spec sheet can only tell you so much.

This is disappointing. I have the M2 and like it a lot but the proposed pricing for the M1 is too high. I'll stick with my Plenue D. Thanks anyway.
