Did someone compare SQ to M2s? I'm curious about differences.

@Shanling are you planning to add "Add to queue" option? I got used to this with few Rockbox DAPs and I miss it - to smoothly add single song/folder to Now Playing list.

I bought this DAP today for 105 € used with 6 months warranty. Maybe overkill for my actual cans, but I wanted a "upgrade-proof" DAP

@Shanling Please implement this in the next FW update! Let us see our amazing album art work on the beautiful, vibrant M1 display!

Well, why not disable the clock function, so you go from display off directly to now playing screen, where you will see the lovely album art?

I just want play/pause button but settings unlock it with skip buttons.

Will see if can be added in next firmware.

Speaking about the presentation itself, M2s has fuller, warmer sound compared to M1.

HiBy link is still working and adding new features to firmware, so I think we will see that soon.

I have both. Is there a difference, probably. Is it obvious and major, not to me.

Other notes:
- The M2s extra power make it better for slightly harder to drive full size headphone. Either should be fine for most IEMs.

- I like the button configuration of the M2s better, especially as the M1 pause play on the scroll wheel means you have to be more careful as it easy to scroll or raise/lower the volume while trying to play or pause. But both are easy to navigate once you get accustomed to the particular unit. Having both gets more complicated.

- I find the case for the M1 superior with it ability to clip to an arm band or belt. The case for the M2s seems like a step backwards and I find it less useful. Also My M2s scroll wheel touched the back of the case making one handed scrolling difficult. I actually used a blade to trim it so I could more easily use it.

- The small size of the M1 is great for use in a pocket or just on the go. If there was a M2s sized DAP that ran Android and allow you to use streaming services IT WOULD BE FANTASTIC! Since I use Spotify at the gym I find don't use the Shanlings much. My Axon 7 or LG V7 are used almost exclusively.

Brand is Rancco. Model number ELEUCTAA2PB

I've found it, the device must be a DAC as I don't believe USB C outputs any analogue audio. I can't say with 100% confidence but I believe it will work as an external DAC on the m1.

The reviews are mainly positive regarding its compatibility with various devices, but not so good regarding its longevity.

Any info about shanling m1s?? Or i should get m2s??

M1 was released as last from "pre S" series, late last year, so we don't plan update anytime soon.

Can I connect my speakers thru M1 USB using this cable?

If it has standard DAC inside, it should work. Question is, why would you want to use this instead of output of M1 itself???
