Shanling M0 Pro - Ultra-Portable Hi-Fi Player, Now With Balanced Output!

I didn't even think of that. I will do that.. cross fingered.
I have seen and experienced occasions where a device spits the dummy and appears to have bricked but after a reset or just holding down the power button for an extended time it'll resume normal functioning. Fingers crossed for you.

So far my regular M0 use has been as a bluetooth source for a speaker in a delivery vehicle or wireless iems. I just got myself the BLON-03 as a low cost wired iem to take advantage of the balanced adapter.

Hah! It’s alive! The reset did bring it back but what was that about? I never had this issue with the OG M0 🤔

hi all, once a year I crawl out from under my rock to check out the ultraportable options (slim pickings), so I'm just now noticing the M0 Pro. How is the software/touch experience? I used to have the M2x, but I gave up on it because I always thought the software response was subpar for the amount of screen real estate it had. I've had a Fiio M5 for a few years and have been very happy with it. (I'm a very basic user)

Please remind me, on the current software on the M0 Pro, can you swipe across at a long name to get it to auto scroll?

I'm still content with the M5, but I'm always curious how others compare the two.

I'm just spitballing, byt probably you give up a little just because of the small package. I use it to jog so it's odities I'll accept. I don't think long filenames scroll.?. Like the MO original.?.

On any long text you can swipe left to make it scroll
Thank you, I had missed this detail. This ups the level of my experience greatly.

I haven't used it since updating, but a quick look seems to show the lightspeed scroll is fixed?

Firmware Update V1.5 released for M0 Pro.

Notes and download link on our website:

https://en.shanling.com/article-m0prov15.html
Are there plans to make battery status display in percentages in the future? If not at the top of the screen, then at least on the locked screen.
There are also a few more ideas to improve the user experience:
1. When viewing long folder names, it would be nice to have autoscrolling after some time (1-2 seconds) instead of gesture.
2. I'd like to have the quick settings curtain also work on the "currently playing" screen
3. I would also like to see in the menu to disable the function of full-screen display of album art during playback.

Thanks for the latest firmware, it is very stable.

One negative I've learned that hopefully will be addressed...

I listen to gapless mixed music when I work out. Have always used wired headphones with the M0 Pro. Today I tried my bluetooth headset - and iFi Go Pod connected to iems. There's a pause between tracks on gapless playback. It doesn't happen in Roon from my tablet or phone. But from the M0 Pro, there's the annoying gap.

And the right pod doesn't have a light go on when placed back in the case like the left one does.

Am I missing something?

No plans to add battery percentage, our software team tested it and wasn't happy with the accuracy.

1) No plans for autoscrolling.

2) Yes, it was discussed with software team to be added.

3) In this scenario, when disabled, what would it show instead?

No, they have different body shape, so the cases are different.

Last time: Can bluetooth connection play gapless? I'm having problems with my iFi Go Pod setup. Will try my B&O bluetooth headphones later today...
