Shanling M0 Pro - Ultra-Portable Hi-Fi Player, Now With Balanced Output!
May 8, 2023 at 6:09 PM Post #421 of 788
Hi, I am using my M0 Pro with the Sony Linkbuds S. It seems that LDAC doesn't work. It doesn't show up when enabled. AAC and SBC work. Can somebody please help?
Could it be related to this footnote from the Sony Linkbuds S webpage?

6. Need to set the function to “Priority on Sound Quality” using the Sony | Headphones Connect app. Compatible devices supporting LDAC will be needed.

Will report it to our software team for a check, this would be first device we see behaving in such way (But Sony is sometimes bit special when it comes to their BT heapdhones)

I just received a M0 Pro, there are many things i love but i have some questions @Shanling

1. Why is the scroll so damn fast/sensitive ?! You barely touch the screen and it goes brrrrrrrrrrr
2. Will you fix it in a future firmware ? It would be nice to add a feature to allow the user to adjust the speed.

Thanks.

Yes, we also shared the same opinion with our software team and asked them to adjust it with firmware.

This is something we were facing a lot with original M0, few times changing its scrolling speed/sensitivity in firmware updates.

So you should have learned by now

Good to know, hope it comes fast
You made an awesome device but this scroll speed issue make it so annoying to use :expressionless:
As i said the best way to solve this would be to add the possibility to adjust it in the settings so it can fit anyone preferences... But just slowing it down would already be a good improvement.

Having a problem with my M0 Pro. It suddenly will stop playing at the slightest vibration in the room and require the play key to be pressed again. (Like a 4kg cat jumping on the bed) My two best guesses are either a problem with the headphone jack or my SD card getting old (its a 1TB card about a year old), but is there any way to do a diagnostic to figure out which it is?

So if you take M0 Pro in your hand and shake it, it will stop playback?

If it's stopping playback, there might be issue with the headphone connector, as it would detect headphones disconnecting.

Hi... after daily use for almost 2 Months, The volume knob key start to skip when you want to add or reduce volume... It was not acting this way at first time I used it.
I also use the volume knob, as FWD action by double clicks it.
is there a way to fixed it ?

It would help if you would describe your daily usage ie. if you're keeping the device in your pocket with lint and debris or some other way. If it's the former the knob is probably filled with some kind of debris. Usually when a knob acts up like this you can use a bit of isopropyl alcohol 99%. Just get a few drops or use a syringe and apply just a few drops and then dynamically push, turn, click or whatever there is to be done with said knob. If it is gunked up inside it should help mitigate it. Just don't overdo it.

Strangely, shaking it won't always do it. More like lifting it up from the bed or a table or putting it down on the bed or in your pocket. The problem is subtle.

So heavily shaking the player causes no issue, but only the softest movement, very strange.

Hmm... to hassle for me... but thank you for the idea

Hey there!

Not sure if this is the right thread, but Im looking for a decent music player for working out & just listening with good audio quality round $150.
Mostly gonna b using airpods pro 2nd gen, but want to use wired also from time to time.

Looking at these 3, heres what I got so far...

Hidzs ap80 pro
- flat sound straight out of box, outdated bluetooth, ( problem 4 airpods pro 2?) and some bugs.
+ nice big enough screen, mseb and UI

Shanling m0 pro
- too small screen (dont see full file when scrolling), one button
+ sound, small

Hiby r2ii
- lots of bugs, rare firmware updates, not the best hardware
+ bigger screen, UI, mseb

Any recommendations or anything Im missing?

Thank you!
