Shanling M0 Pro - Ultra-Portable Hi-Fi Player, Now With Balanced Output!

I bought 2 of the original M0s in May of 2018 (shortly after they became available and nearly 5 years ago). I honestly don't remember a scrolling problem with them, but could be. They are still going strong and for sound and portability still a 2 of my favorites.
My M0's battery has seen better days and do believe has reached past it's charge cycle. It still can take charge but can't hold charge good anymore. It's pretty the only DAP that I can take with me anywhere, whenever and whatever activity I do without being a burden. Being small, wearable with the clip case, and can read/display song title/info when in receiver mode which is super convenient when playing in discovery mode.

I had come up with another software issue today:

I opened up an album via folder menu and listened to it for a while. I then plugged the device for it to charge and at the same time I searched for an artist in the my music section. Left it like that and went on about my business. The album that I played ended and the device probably went into stand-by. When I wanted to change the album I was greeted with a huge battery icon indicating that the device is being charged, however I couldn't make it to go away. So, naturally, I unplugged the device and to my surprise the thing reverted back to the album that I played beforehand from the folder list.
I thought to myself "that's peculiar" and I played some other artist's album and once it ended playing the player ONCE AGAIN reverted to the same album that I used to play in the first place, via folders list.

Can you fix this, Shanling?

How about a CLIP CASE support for the M0 Pro.. that should be so much easier to do.

We forwarded all the feedback on clip case to our management. Up to their decision now.

M0 Pro doesn't charge in standby-mode. If you see the big charging battery icon, it means it's off. Just hold down the wheel for few seconds to turn it back on.

Can anyone comment on the resume play consistency and ease of fast forward/rewind. I am curious how well the M0 Pro might work for audiobooks / podcasts? Are fast foward and rewind achieved using the touch screen or volume knob?

But how would that explain the player reverting back to the album it played even after hours of listening to some other albums? What causes that particular thing? Being plugged in or what?

Might be bug of the resume function, not sure, haven't seen that before.

Resume play works well in my experience. Fast forward / rewind is unfortunately not that convenient on the M0 Pro, you can only jump to different sections of file by the progress bar. Which works fine for audio files, but can't really imagine working accurently for like 3 hour long podcasts.

But you can change speed of playback to 1.25, 1.5 or 2x

How to play a folder in repeat? When I choose repeat without the number 1 it doesn't repeat the folder but go to the next folder.
Try turning off 'Folder Skip'.

Will this work as a transport for higher powered dongles like the iBasso DC04 Pro or Questyle M15? I used the original M0 as a transport but only to devices with their own battery. Thanks!

In theory it should work (it can power our UA5 running at maximum), but it will drain M0 Pro very very quickly.
