As talkingh mentioned it's 1.7 on the website.

I’ve managed to get mine to update over the wifi, no visible difference so far, all still working well and sounding great
I could be mistaken but I thought ET3 required manual via USB update.
Do you mind posting a pic of your ET3 with the system information visible?

Firmware V1.9 brought support for Chinese QPlay service. It's not important update for markets outside of China, as such we haven't announced it yet.

Tried updating to 1.9 from 1.7
Getting "Out of Memory" error?
*EDIT*
fixed by putting USB drive with more free space in player.
Guess theres some temporary writing to USB whilst updating Firmware?
Anyhoo,
now on V1.9
Always "under the hood" improvements, so always like to keep latest updated firmware, even if theres nothing obvious changed.

Yeah,

Strange. Mine was updating and then said “U disk not found” and then “FW not found” after downloading and restarting to install. Twice. Oh well.My ET3 just made update to fw. 1.9. What are the changes in this update?
@Shanling is there anywhere to download for offline update? QPlay would be nice for me since I listen to QQ Music and currently use the DLNA function to QPlay.

It seems we should wait for that 1.8 version to fix all that bugs we wrote.Strange. Mine was updating and then said “U disk not found” and then “FW not found” after downloading and restarting to install. Twice. Oh well.
