You were initially having trouble with that font, no? How'd you get things working?
  3. liquidrats
I lived with it.. if u look at how the font is supposed to look like its quite different from my screens.

Looks nice.I would say so far put it on Google drive or something similar, I will link it into post #2.

Tested on my unit, works nicely. Added to post #2

May I offer up the suggestion to @Shanling that somehow when you collect these new themes, which I think is a great idea, you add a picture of the playback screen. It seems like that would be the most useful one to look at when deciding if one is even interested in a theme.

Thanks @Shanling for the profile editor. This is my first venture into customising a theme. Took the opportunity to learn enough to make my own theme. After many hours of verbally abusing myself, I discovered 'layers' for editing pictures (told u I was a total noob and quite possibly on the spectrum) that made the job a lot easier.

Is there a way to take an actual screen shot so I can position the background on things like default album icon?
Actually, if there's a 'bit for bit' screen shot of any 'now playing' with an album art out there would be very helpful.

Also, Is there any way to display the eq profile picture in stead of just the sliders icon?

Almost two months, yet only one user created theme. Interesting to see after we got some many questions regarding this tool, hmm...

Because it’s hard to create a theme without knowing what you’re doing. Also, editing backgrounds without templates is a pain so we are just changing locations of things.

What do I use to unpack the .bat files on a MAC? or does this work on a Mac?
  11. liquidrats
Yeah that's right. When I open it up I realized that I have to recreate the images. Not having any adobe software is not helping as well. So what I did was just fonts and splash screens.

Nope, for Win only. It's sufficient simple to unpack/pack firmware on Linux. On Mac OS I can only unpack with ubi-reader. To pack fw you should to install mid-utils but i can't find it on Mac.

A .bat (batch) is a text file containing a list of instructions for windows and dos to execute. It can be opened and edited with a simple text editor like notepad.

If you drag and drop the .bat file on the Mac’s TextEdit application you can see the instructions it contains but it doesn’t actually help as the Mac won’t understand them and can’t execute them. I don’t think there’s any way to do this on a Mac without running PC emulation software like “Wine” or “Crossover” or “Bootcamp” etc.
