SF Bay Area Meet on Sunday February 17, 2013 (the one which is really going to happen)

I'll be there around 9-930, I'm not bringing too much gear and how is the outlet situation going to look? Should I bring a power strip? I'll bring some cash for the donation too. Thanks to everybody for setting this up and lets have a good meet.

How drunk am I allowed to be when I show up?

IM KIDDING.

If I am in before 10 it will be a miracle, so don't take my table space :)

What do I ask the person at the front where to go? "Where is the headphone meet?"?

Comrades, I've been looking forward to this meet since day one. Unfortunately I threw my back out in the morning and been in bed all day. Sorry I can't make it in tomorrow. Hope you guys have a great time!

As this is my first headphone meet, I'd like to ask about listening etiquette; how long are you allowed/should you listen to someone else's setup? I'd like time to digest the headphones sound, but I also don't want to hog setups either. Just wondering!

Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow. I'm assuming it's okay to bring my Dad?

I usually listen for 5-6 minutes using small clips of tracks I want to test. Just keep an eye out for anyone who looks interested and let them have it after a few minutes. You can always listen again later. If nobody seems to want to listen and you are really interested in the rig, maybe go as long as 10-15 minutes. Some people that are waiting to listen aren't always obvious about their desire, so its good to let a rig go once you've been able to listen to several songs.

Sorry, I know this is terribly last minute, but seeing as how a handful of people have dropped out, would it be ok for me to bring a +1?  No additional table space required or anything, I just want a friend to help me lug my stuff from the caltrain station and back, lol

Yeah they've said a few times now that people not showing gear are able to join.

ok cool. I was a bit confused about that part since the 'slot' limit on the first page didn't mention it was only for gear people. I guess I'll be seeing everyone in a couple hours then!

Rather last minute, but I'll stop by and bring a DT880, HE60, and a Wadia 121 DAC.  Don't need a specific table, will just find someone to share with.
