Hi all,
I was reading the forums the other day and I found some really negative things about the comply tx-400, about its diameter not being wide enough and thus causing earphone damage. Is this true?

When I had the IE8, it was harder than any other IEM to fit the Comply Tips 400 on...You can definitely get them on, but I'm not sure if it's the right idea to force them on. They literally slipped on the MTPC and UE TF10s easily.

The T400 tips are difficult to put on the IE8 and even more so when taking them off. I had a much easier time with the T500 tips and the IE8.

I am currently on my 3rd pair of gray Tx-400. Putting them on is not so bad. Taking them off on the other hand is a bitch. After a few days on they can't be removed without being ruined.
Earlier I had Tx-500 (runout of supply) - a bit easier to remove.
