I would disagree with this.

That has already been done this year, and its called the GS-X mk2.

I really wouldn't. But I didn't know you revised the design. I've seen no information on your website but I will take a look.

As for the Sennheiser amplifier, would anyone suggest why the internal gain level is effective only with single-ended outputs? Frank, do you have any ideas why?

You can stream the entire new Daft Punk album Random Access Memories for free on iTunes, and I recommend it as demo material since it's an unusually great sounding album. Plenty of beefy bass with the HD 800 and a nice transparent sound throughout most of the album. It feels like it'll be my go-to album whenever someone comes over and hears the HDVD 800 and HD 800 for the first time.

I am listening to the Daft Punk album and it sound very MP3. I think if this is issue don cd the recording will sou nd better even if you up load to itune lossless. Is anyone using Almarra for Macs? The music is interesting  as it is genre I don't listen to much but this sound interesting. I am using the hD700 with the hdvd800 right now.

I believe the Daft Punk album stream is AAC 128kbps, so it's no wonder you're hearing compression artifacts. I'm hearing them as well, and I assume they'll be gone once it gets a proper release in a few days.

Frank,
When I had my mac I used Fidelia (has it's own remote app) and it sounded better than itunes because it uses the core audio that logic uses and has a izotope audio driver as well which I prefered. Too bad I didn't have my 800s when I had it to try.

I highly recomennd Audirvana Plus! They just released a beta version 1.5 and it is absolutely fantastic with the HDVD800, HD800 and my Mac.
To my ears it is way better then Fidelia and Amara.
It has rave reviews on Computer Audiophiles website.

Playing Hi resolution files is absolutely perfect for HDVD 800 and HD 800.
The best part is it has a 15 day free trial! Anbody who has a Mac should try this app.

I have not compared Enqueue, just Amara and Fidelia to the AUDIRVANA PLUS 1.46 and more recently Beta 1.4.9.9 (sounds great!).
One thing is I deactivated itunes completely in the settings and just play my HD flac files.
I found that AUDIRVANA PLUS improved my HDVD800 nicely, more air, more soundstage and a little more detail. You can also use a custom settings to up-sample your music files from 44.1kHz upto 192kHz without a DAC. However I still prefer the standard settings.
Have a listen, for a few days and play around with it with HDVD800. Hope you gentlemen enjoy it as much as I do.

BTW, if and you are using an app that's better, I would really be interested.

Thanks.
