finally got anothe 240df to compare with. i meant to buy one earlier but the seller sent me a sextett by accident!

the df seems to have better highs, brighter highs. i prefer the df for its highs details. the senn does much better at the mid and lower end though, bass notes are very accurate and separated. female vocals in particular are very sweet. nicely held notes have zero sibilance while maintaining their mid to mid high pitch

the only thing thats keeps me loving these headphones is the extreme isolation design

Don't know what you mean by no adjustment. Peltor hearing protectors can adjust to size. The metal rods can move in and out of the black plastic part that connects to the cups.
