Is this code for telling me to go to the V281 thread? If I searched HD800S/V281 wouldn't it bring me back here anyway? If not I'll need more advice on thisUse search
In-thread search. Is this secret code for telling me to go to the V281 thread? If not I'll need more advice on this
I think I understand what you're telling me. And no I did not quite understand how that search within a thread worked. So thanks, but I have to say it kind of came across as you saying learn how to use the search dumbbell. Apologies if I misunderstoodIn-thread search.
It wont push you any where.
You really did not know the search function?
I had the HD800S with the V281 for about a year. They worked well together but I preferred the HD800S with a much cheaper hybrid amp - Xduoo TA-20. Then I got a Denafrips Artemis head amp and that is the best of the three. The Artemis was designed using the HD800S as the reference for its tuning. It may already have been addressed somewhere in the nearly 8,000 posts, but does anyone know how the HD800S works with the Violectric V281 amp? Totally agree....the artemis and hd800s is magic...the strength of thr hd800s is enhancedI had the HD800S with the V281 for about a year. One of the strengths of the Artemis is its level of detail, greater than the V281 for instance. Also it has a slightly warmer SQ than the V281, about the same as the Xduoo with Amperex tubes.Does the Artemis/hd800s sound very detailed or is it more on the warm side? As I have read in reviews.
its warmer, yet detailed, yet the detail does not seem to be forced. It also feels darker because the treble feels further away, hence the illusion of a bigger and spacious stage.Does the Artemis/hd800s sound very detailed or is it more on the warm side? As I have read in reviews.
Which series is this? Im still using the standard hd800s cable, thinking of a nice upgrade. I can get a good deal on a brise cable at around $500, but looking at more options. I love HD800s so much that im creating a whole backend for just fully optimising the hd800sOMG,
Not just the best but the only after market cable I love with HD800S!
Me too I prefer HD800s to almost all the insanely priced dynamics cans. It is Siltech Duchess Crown. I tried many hyped aftermarket cables here but preferred the stock cable. This one is the only exception so far.Which series is this? Im still using the standard hd800s cable, thinking of a nice upgrade.
