I’ve heard this a thousand times but I couldn’t keep them on my head for more than 30 mins, the padding is way too thin in my opinion

Chill : P they’re just not for everyone
Guess it is. Also the people who say they’re good for rock and metal music either use extreme EQ and tube amps or they love hearing all the details without any excitement from the music. At least I made a profit when I sold them, can’t complain too muchIt’s funny

Plot-twist - you had a broken pair.
Did not, just didn’t fit me at all. It was one of the newest ones that come with 4.4mm balanced cable thoughPlot-twist - you had a broken pair.

1000+ Head-Fier
Having both headphones...009S/007 and HD800S...they are both like pillows but only with the HD800S do you feel like the *princess*.Picked up hd800S at a good deal in January, had them for about 3 months and decided to sell them since they don’t pair with the music I listen to at all. The headband was also very uncomfortable for me, definitely not enough padding. Moving on to Stax

Impatient? I had them for three months, I’d been saving for them for over a year and really wanted to like them but in the end neither the sound nor the comfort appealed to meIm sure you wear them with tight headband adjustment. Did you listen to music in the headstand position?
I never heard this complaint from anyone.

I tried all positions, all adjustments, etc. they were always uncomfortable after a while and I got headaches. Maybe my head has a weird shape, dunno. I find the hd6xx very comfortable as a comparisonDid you listen to music in the headstand position?

Could be. You need to be happy of course and the 6XX are great headphones.
I don’t have 6xx myself, a friend has them.Could be. You need to be happy of course and the 6XX are great headphones.
I have an old pair of hd558 and thought they were pretty close to the hd6xx in terms of sound, well the earcups are smaller. Anyway waiting for the sr 007, hopefully they’ll be comfortable enough

You can adjust it in many ways on how they sit on your head. Hard to believe it fit anyone badly considering care Sennheiser put in their totl headphones. Featherweight, very breathable padding, massive earpads, almost no 0 pressure from headband.Impatient? I had them for three months, I’d been saving for them for over a year and really wanted to like them but in the end neither the sound nor the comfort appealed to me
